Vintage Large Flag Swallowtail Pointed Pennant Navy Blue & White Cross

This large flag measures 36″ x 50″ and shows some wear and age related marks here and there, with a couple of holes (please see photos). It matches the flag for the Swedish East India Trading Company, but the age of this flag does not match up nor does the stamped flag measurements at the top, or I have been told it could be a flag for the Shetland Isles, with the swallowtail indicating authority. It shows very faint hand writing on the hoist which appears to be “E/C Last” and then something illegible. I am not certain of its origin, but it is highly decorative regardless. Perfect as a display piece or to add to a collection.
