Antique Japanese Meiji Period Silver Tripod Incense Burner & Cover c.1868-1912

£0.00

This absolutely stunning silver censer and lid has been expertly crafted and likely dates to the Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912) and features what is likely to be a studio stamp on the base. It features repoussé work and a typical Japanese blossoming Chrysanthemum motif. An attractive piece with real character and age, with some light denting throughout (please see photos). It has had a light clean and the lid sits delicately on the top of the rim.
