This antique tartan is in its original frame and features the original name plaque – Buchanan. Measuring 150cm x 40.5cm, it was on display in a London kilt shop that closed thirty years ago, and was used as a wall display. It shows wear throughout to the tartan and the frame with some moth holes to the tartan and a few marks to the wood (please see photos). It features the original holes for hanging on a wall. I have a few of these from the same shop including Fraser, MacGregor, Stuart, Buchanan, and Shepherd.
A stunning display piece.
